The achievement was announced at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) Awards conference at L.A. LIVE on Wednesday morning, January 29.
Recognized as one of the most prestigious accolades in the hospitality industry, the ALIS Awards highlight hotels, companies, and executives responsible for the most influential deals and developments of the year. The Development of the Year Award celebrates outstanding newly built, redeveloped, or repositioned hotels in the Americas region.

Opened in February 2024 and developed by HRI Hospitality, Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown was delivered significantly ahead of schedule and under budget. As only the second Tempo by Hilton branded property to open in the U.S., the opening marked a significant milestone for the Tempo by Hilton brand. The 306-room hotel represents a new era of select-service hospitality with a focus on wellness, elevated design, and engaging guest experiences. Designed by Nashville-based ESa, with interiors by Wimberly Interiors and construction by BELL Construction, the 16-story property merges the city’s rich architectural heritage with modern, art-deco-inspired design elements. The hotel offers a range of upscale amenities, including a 1,500-square-foot state-of-the-art fitness center, a rooftop pool and bar, a fifth-floor sky lobby with sweeping city views, and Nashville’s first Topgolf Swing Suites.
