Hyatt Centric French Quarter Hotel Names New General Manager

NEW ORLEANS, LA (April 10, 2018) – HRI Hospitality has appointed Scott Weber as general manager for the Hyatt Centric French Quarter Hotel. As general manager, Weber will be responsible for directing all aspects of hotel operations, including hotel administration, guest services and all sales and marketing efforts.

Prior to joining HRI Hospitality, Weber served as the vice president of operations for the Inland Pacific Hotel Group.

Weber brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served in professional hospitality management for over 30 years including 10 years in leadership roles with Starwood Hotels & Resorts/Westin and 18 years with the Doubletree Hotel Corporation. Weber also served tenure with the Doubletree Hotels and has direct leadership experience related to new build, conversion and acquisition efforts. In total, Weber has participated in over 30 hotel acquisitions and was awarded the Doubletree Controller of the Year out of 56 controllers.
