Chad Penny

There’s a lot to great hotel experiences that customers never see, and Chad Penny helps facilitate much of it. As HRI Hospitality’s corporate director of information technology, he oversees all IT initiatives and operations within the company’s lodging division. It’s a crucial role as HRI’s portfolio of managed hotels continues to grow. For nearly 20 years, he’s honed his experience in development and hotel systems at HRI, beginning as an IT technician, and working his way up through roles including network administrator, senior engineer of information services and IT director. During his time as IT director, Chad managed day-to-day operations for over 350 users across more than 45 locations and supported an infrastructure with more than 40 virtual servers. His dedication, know-how and willingness to take on new challenges make him the perfect person to ensure HRI has the right technology to continue to grow its lodging business.
